Champagne Abbey
Champagne Ardèche
Abbaye Saint-Pierre de Champagne, located between Lyon and Valence, is home to the community of Canons Regular of Saint Victor. They devote themselves to parish ministry, the celebration of the Liturgy of the Hours, studies, and missions, with a presence in several priories across France and as far as Tanzania.
Throughout the year, the canons welcome guests for times of encounter, spiritual renewal, and formation. Men and women, young people and adults, individuals and groups, engaged couples, married couples, and families, all are welcome to share in the life of the community during a stay. The offices are celebrated each day in the village's Romanesque church, dating from the early 12th century, which guests may request to visit in detail.
