The Foyer de Charité de Baye, in Champagne, is a Catholic community led by consecrated lay people in collaboration with a priest, in the tradition of the Foyers de Charité founded in 1936 by Marthe Robin and Father Georges Finet. Men and women, single or married, as well as priests, share a simple and fraternal family life built on communal prayer, shared mission, and service to retreatants, trained to accompany each person in their search for meaning.

The community welcomes guests for six-day foundational and deepening retreats, weekend recollections, and special gatherings for young professionals or couples. Centered on silence, prayer, and Christian formation, these stays are open to all, within a setting that also offers a rich historical heritage, including the Saint-Alpin chapel, and the surrounding Champagne vineyards.
