In the Pas-de-Calais department, the Foyer de charité de Courset is a community of lay men and women affiliated with the Œuvre des Foyers de Charité, founded in 1936 by Marthe Robin and Father Georges Finet. Established in 1971, it brings together around twenty members who share a family life of prayer and work in service of those they welcome. The community serves retreatants, runs the École Sainte-Odile, and offers formation for young people through a missionary year known as the "Année pour Dieu" (Year for God).

Set in an 18th-century manor house at the heart of a park of some twenty hectares, once a celebrated botanical garden, 20 km from the sea and at the entrance to the Vallée de la Course, the Foyer offers spiritual retreats focused on Christian formation, open to all. People come here to find renewal in silence, as families or couples, within a vibrant, joyful, and fraternal community.
