Foyer de Charité Roquefort-Côte d'Azur
Roquefort-les-Pins Alpes-Maritimes Founded in 1950
The Foyer de Charité de Côte d'Azur, founded in 1950 in Roquefort-les-Pins in the Alpes-Maritimes, on the site of the Sacré-Cœur sanctuary, belongs to the Foyers de Charité movement born in 1936 under the inspiration of Marthe Robin and Father Georges Finet. The community brings together twenty-five people, men and women, lay people and priests, single and married, who share a life of prayer, fraternal living, and work in service of hospitality. Committed to the "Église Verte" collective, it embraces an ecological orientation, reflected in its vegetable garden.
Nestled in a four-hectare park between the sea and the mountains, twenty minutes from Nice and Grasse, the Foyer de Charité offers Christian formation spiritual retreats open to everyone, believers and non-believers alike. Guests come to find renewal and rediscover the strength to do good around them, in a setting where swimming in the sea and hiking in the hinterland are both within easy reach.
