Maison Massabielle
Saint-Prix Val-d'Oise Founded in 1938
Maison Massabielle, a retreat center run by the Teams of Our Lady, a movement of conjugal spirituality founded in 1938 by Father Caffarel and four couples, is located in Saint-Prix, 15 km from Paris. Born from the desire to fully live out the richness of the sacrament of Matrimony, this Christian movement today brings together more than 70,000 married couples, in 14,000 teams, across 70 countries. The center operates in partnership with the diocese of Pontoise.
Situated on the edge of the Montmorency forest, the house has a 3-hectare park, a chapel that can accommodate up to 200 people, and an oratory. Each year, around twenty weekends are dedicated to retreats for couples; other days are open to various groups, in a welcoming and functional setting. Just 30 minutes from Paris by RER, the location is ideal for walks and renewal.
