Our Lady of Timadeuc Abbey, a Trappist abbey of the Cistercian Order, is located in the commune of Bréhan, in central Brittany, between Pontivy and Josselin in the Morbihan department. Founded in 1841 by three monks from the Soligny Trappist monastery to restore monastic life that had disappeared during the Revolution, it is home to a community that follows the Rule of Saint Benedict. According to the motto "Ora et Labora," the brothers divide their day between prayer, community life, and work, producing notably their renowned fruit jellies and cheeses, the Trappe and the Timanoix.

Nestled in a green setting at the crossroads of the GR 37 hiking trail, a Camino de Santiago route, and the Nantes-to-Brest canal, the abbey welcomes individuals and groups for restorative and authentic stays, in the heart of an unspoiled Breton countryside ideal for walking and cycling.
