The Marian sanctuary of Our Lady of Mercy in Pellevoisin, in the Indre department, between Tours and Châteauroux, is a site of Marian apparitions whose spiritual life is entrusted to the Brothers of Saint John, assisted by a contemplative community of Sisters of Saint John. It was here that in 1876 the Virgin Mary appeared fifteen times to Estelle Faguette, delivering a message of mercy before her healing. The community, which follows the charism of the apostle John through prayer, community life, study, and apostolate, has been welcoming pilgrims since 1999.

The sanctuary welcomes above all pilgrims, whether individuals, families, groups, or parishes. Retreats are offered throughout the year (Christmas, New Year, Easter, Divine Mercy Sunday), as well as weekends for engaged and married couples and a five-day individual retreat. Guests can participate in the offices in the chapel, pray at the tomb of Estelle Faguette, visit the grotto of Montbel, and enjoy the park.
