Prieuré Notre-Dame de Rimont, located in Saône-et-Loire (Bourgogne-Franche-Comté), is run by the Brothers of Saint John, for whom it serves as the motherhouse and house of formation in theology for the Brothers and Sisters. Built as early as 1113 by Cistercian monks from La Ferté-sur-Grosne, the hamlet is home today to around forty brothers of different nationalities and ages, whose life is organized around liturgical prayer, community life, studies, and apostolate.

Nestled among vineyards and fields, in the gentle rolling hills of southern Burgundy, the priory is a place of renewal, quiet, and prayer. Located between Le Creusot and Chalon-sur-Saône, south of Dijon, it opens its guest house to those who come for a self-directed retreat, to take part in one of its activities, for a time of rest, or as a group.
