Saint Francis House in Dinard
Dinard Ille-et-Vilaine
La Maison Saint François, in Dinard in Brittany, is a spiritual retreat house run by members of the Foyer de Charité de Tressaint, set in a former Capuchin convent in the heart of the Emerald Coast. Priests and lay people, men and women, share a simple and fraternal family life here, dedicated to a mission of hospitality. The place bears traces of its history: granite buildings, a chapel, and a garden enclosed by a surrounding wall that gives it a gentle quietude.
Just 100 meters from the sea, above a cove, in the peaceful Vicomté neighborhood, the house welcomes you year-round with a view of Saint-Malo. The atmosphere is warm and convivial, with each guest free to set their own schedule while everyone gathers together for meals. It is a place to take a break, slow down, and find renewal in a privileged setting.
