The Saint-Joseph guest house, in Rochecorbon, is the Mother House of the congregation of the Sisters of Mary Reconciler, established in this town near Tours, in Indre-et-Loire, since 1931. Six sisters share community life there like a family, in a spirit of humility, simplicity, and charity. A Marian and apostolic institute, the congregation's mission is to proclaim the Gospel to families in working-class communities, as well as to care for the most vulnerable, the young, and those who are suffering. Communal prayer and personal recollection remain at the heart of their daily life.

In the heart of the Touraine countryside, six kilometers from Tours, the house offers a peaceful haven of calm, silence, and contemplation. The sisters warmly welcome students coming to study for exams, young people, movements, and groups on retreat or in session, in an intergenerational and multicultural setting.
