The Little Brothers of the Lamb - Lyon
Lyon Rhône Founded in 1990
In Lyon, on the banks of the Saône, in the working-class neighborhood of Vaise, the Little Brothers of the Lamb have established their fraternity in the former rectory of the Saint-Charles-de-Serin church. Members of the Community of the Lamb, founded in France in the tradition of the mendicant orders, following in the footsteps of Saint Dominic and Saint Francis of Assisi, they lead a joyful, humble, and fraternal life rooted in liturgical prayer and the unceasing meditation on the Word of God. Sent out two by two as pilgrims and mendicants, they go out to meet the poorest and all people, bearing witness to the joy that animates them.
The Little Brothers welcome young men (ages 18-30) to simply share their daily life: listening to the Word of God, fraternal friendship, trust in Providence, and the experience of poverty and mendicancy. All of this within a setting of silence, at the heart of a vibrant city.
