A deep dive into the life of the Poor Clares!
Meeting the Poor Clares
- The goal is to allow young women, whatever their background and life plans, to discover our monastic life from the inside.
- Accommodation and talks (presentations on our life, the history of the monastery, Saint Clare and Saint Francis, and the Bible), snacks, and exchanges among participants take place in the guest house.
- Meals, work sessions (garden, print workshop, bookbinding workshop, help preparing starters and desserts, etc.), prayer times, and leisure time are shared with the community (within the "enclosure").
For young women aged 18 to 35.

Programme
- Tuesday, August 25: 4:30 p.m. if possible (or by 8:00 p.m. at the latest): welcome and settling in.
- Wednesday, August 26: 1 talk, 1 work session, a snack gathering with some sisters, free time, offices and Mass, a time of sharing with a sister at the end of the day to reflect on what each person experienced.
- Thursday, August 27: 1 talk, 1 or 2 work sessions, a fraternal gathering with a small group from the community, free time, offices and Mass, a time of sharing with a sister at the end of the day to reflect on what each person experienced.
- Friday, August 28: 1 talk, 1 work session, a fraternal gathering with the whole community, offices and Mass, a time of reflection and review of what each person experienced during the stay.
During this stay, there will be an opportunity for a personal meeting with a sister.
Practical information
A few things to know:
- If possible, please bring sheets or a sleeping bag and towels.
- Plan to wear appropriate clothing for work (especially in the garden).
Financial contribution:
Nothing! Just a smile! A donation is of course always welcome.
