Practical information
Retreat organization
- The session begins on October 18 from 3:00 pm with the welcome of families and ends on October 24 after lunch. When registering, please make sure to respect the arrival and departure dates.
- Meals are provided by the community — you will not need to cook, except if you would like to bring desserts, cakes, or specialties from home. Please coordinate with the cook.
- A washing machine will be available for your use at a cost of €6 per token.
- We offer sports activities (scuba diving, hiking...) for older teenagers. Scuba diving is paid for by parents separately from the stay fees.
Children
- Children aged 0 to 3 are cared for in the childcare area by volunteers, not professionals.
- For safety reasons, children aged 0 to 4 sleep with their parents. Older children are grouped by age and sleep with children of the same age.
- They will also be looked after by the Brothers and volunteers while parents are in the conference room. Outside of group activity times, children are the responsibility of their parents.
- We can rent travel cots upon request.
What to bring
- You may bring your own sheets and towels (parents: 1.40 m bed; children: 0.90 m bed). You also have the option to rent sheets and towels on site for €10.
- Please bring a Bible, something to take notes with, walking shoes, hats, sunglasses, and musical instruments for liturgical celebrations.
Financial contribution
- The balance of your stay is to be paid on site in cash, by check, or by bank transfer.
- To continue its mission with families, the community of Brothers counts on your generosity for donations. A tax receipt will be issued for each donation you make to the Brothers.
- We thank you in advance and assure you of our prayers. You are welcome to entrust us with your prayer intentions, and we will bring them before the Lord.
