Bible in hand: discovering our roots

• Explore together the Jewish autumn festivals, from Rosh Hashanah (New Year) to Sukkot (the Feast of Tabernacles), including Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.
• Discover their deeper meaning through the verses of the First Testament.
• Listen for the resonances in Christian texts, tradition, and liturgy.

No prior knowledge of Hebrew is required. But this is an opportunity to reconnect with it for those who already have some familiarity.

From Wednesday, October 7 at 5:00 PM to Sunday, October 11 at 10:00 AM.

Speakers: Marie-Elisabeth Picard, a member of the Foyer de charité, and Françoise Mirabile, a Hebrew teacher at the Institut de Science et de Théologie des Religion.

This session is not held in silence.

Suggested offering at the end of the retreat

A deposit of 50€ is required to confirm registration.

The estimated cost per retreatant per day is 65€, but financial considerations should not be a barrier to attending a retreat. Each person gives according to their real means.
