Calligraphy & Word of God

Create a calligraphy piece illustrating a biblical verse or a spiritual word related to Our Lady, which you will be able to take home with you.

• Learning a calligraphy alphabet,
• layout and composition,
• basics of composition and color harmony,
• drop cap (lettrine),
• techniques using Sennelier ink,
• decorative motifs.

Program:

• Introduction to lectio divina and practical application,
• Mass,
• adoration,
• offices,
• teachings,
• time for calligraphy in silence,
• August 15 at the Grotte de l'Habit.

Speakers:

• Sister Monica, Communauté apostolique de Jérusalem. Trained in theology and in the illustrated calligraphy of the Word of God
• Father Patrick Sempere and the community of Bassac Abbey.
