Dwelling in my love: The clown school for welcoming joy

How can the clown's humility, tenderness, and openness shed light on our relationship with ourselves, others, and God?

Dwelling in my love: The clown school for welcoming joy

In the spirit of clowns, let yourself be inhabited by the Word so as to receive and give joy in abundance.

  • The clown welcomes each person where they are with humility and tenderness, allowing themselves to be inspired.
  • This week invites you to learn from the clown, an unexpected and deeply liberating path for exploring love and joy.
  • Letting yourself be caught by the unpredictable: far from convention, the clown invites us to let go, to welcome the unexpected, and to celebrate our vulnerability as a strength.
  • It is in this space of freedom that we can allow ourselves to be surprised and discover ourselves in a new light.

    Programme

    From August 15, 2026 at 6:00 PM to August 22, 2026 at 4:00 PM

An invitation to silence and study of the Word: beyond laughter, the art of the clown connects us to a form of authentic presence.

    • Times of silence and study of the Word will be offered to help us internalize this experience, nourish our souls, and draw from the source of love.
    • Creative joy through the art of the clown: through playful and nurturing workshops led by Geneviève Pichevin, clown and trainer, you will explore the fundamentals of clown play. The goal is not to become a circus artist, but to rediscover the child within, to let the creativity and spontaneity that live in each of us come forth, and to offer that joy.
    • A spiritual journey: accompanied by Father Benoît Sevenier, Eudist, we will connect this inner exploration to a deep spiritual dimension.

This retreat is an opportunity to taste a simple and profound joy, to free ourselves from our masks, and to let ourselves be transformed by the power of love, in a beautiful setting and a warm, welcoming atmosphere open to all generations.

Speakers: Father Benoît Sevenier, Eudist; Geneviève Pichevin, Clown and personal development trainer
