- Each day brings a new light on the feast of Christmas and will help you prepare deeply for the new year!
- You can spend the whole week with us, or come for just a few days, or even a single day.
- Highlights: Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve and Adoration until midnight on December 31, each followed by a time of fellowship.
Programme
We simply invite you to live at the rhythm of the offices.
December 24:
- Monastic office at 11:00 PM
- Midnight Mass followed by a time of fellowship
December 31:
- Evening of adoration until midnight, then a time of fellowship
Our schedule:
- Morning office at 8:30 AM (December 25, 26, 27, 28 and January 1) or at 8:00 AM (December 29, 30, 31)
- Eucharist at 11:30 AM (on weekdays) or at 6:00 PM (on Sundays, Christmas Day and January 1)
- Vespers at 5:00 PM (5:30 PM when Mass is at 6:00 PM)
- Vigils office: 9:00 PM or 9:15 PM depending on the day.
Practical information
You may come for as many days as you wish. The retreat is held in silence, particularly during meals, except on feast days.

Le-Péage-de-Roussillon is the nearest train station (on the Lyon-Avignon line) and is located 8km from the Carmel (taxi or carpooling possible)

The Carmel is located near the A7.
