Preached retreat: of clay and gold

Discover this deeply resonant theme accompanying the bicentennial celebration of the founding of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Cenacle.

Indeed, of Clay and Gold touches each of our lives and can express what lies beneath the surface of the Gospel.

6-day retreat preached by Father Yann Le Lay, a priest of the diocese of Versailles.

• This theme, which echoes the Japanese art of Kintsugi, invites us to welcome our lives made of clay and gold.
• Two sessions per day to introduce us to the theme and offer pathways for personal prayer
• Generous stretches of time for personal prayer and rest
• Prayer and Eucharist with the community and fellow retreatants
• Spiritual guidance available occasionally or regularly with Father Le Lay or Sister Erica Ritter, a Sister of the Cenacle

The retreat will be preached by Father Yann Le Lay, a priest of the diocese of Versailles, long involved with L'Arche, then as a parish priest, and currently serving with the Conférence des Evêques de France as national delegate for diaconia and solidarity.

• A Bible and something to write with
• An alarm clock or a watch
• A reusable cup for your breaks (for environmental reasons)
• A cloth napkin (for environmental reasons)
• Sheets and towels (available to rent on site: €10 for sheets and €3 for towels)
• Another pair of shoes for walking in the surrounding parks

Financial contribution

• Accommodation and meals package: between €57 and €92 per day.
• Program: between €19 and €82 per day.
• Annual membership fee: €20 (€30 for couples).
• Sheet rental available at €10 and towels at €3.
• Deposit upon registration: €50, non-refundable in case of cancellation.
