RETREAT for families and engaged couples at Magdala: "Peace or the sword: peace in the Bible and spirituality"

A teaching by Sister Marie-Laure, of the Fraternités Monastiques de Jérusalem in Paris

Program highlights:

• A time of lectio divina (sharing around a biblical text)
• Times of teaching and discussion on the theme
• Times of prayer following the rhythm of monastic liturgies
• A walk in the forest
• Activities and spiritual times offered to children according to their age
• A vigil on Saturday evening

Weekend designed for the whole family. Children are supervised during the teaching sessions. The vigil on Saturday evening includes children aged 7 and up. Younger children are supervised separately.

Weekend start: 10:00 a.m. for the teaching session (preferably arrive Friday evening before 10:30 p.m. - plan to eat dinner beforehand).

The vigil on Saturday evening is organized for families with children aged 7 and up.

Younger children are put to bed and watched over by supervisors.

Participation in the monastic offices

• Full board on site
• Please bring bed sheets, bath towels, and travel cribs for babies.

Contribution to expenses:

€190 per couple, €25 for children under 3, €50 for ages 4-11, €60 for ages 12-17.

This overall price includes overnight accommodation, meals, and compensation (hospitality and fees) for the speaker for couples and for the supervisors for children.
