A path to healing

A healing retreat led by Monique Graessel and Father Bernard Bastian.

Today, Jesus still consoles those who weep, heals those who suffer, sets free those who are bound, calms those who live in fear, and forgives those consumed by guilt.

Programme

Session schedule

  • 9:00 AM: Praise
  • 9:30 AM: Teaching - Personal time
  • 11:55 AM: Mass - Lunch in silence or with music
  • 2:30 PM or 3:00 PM: Praise - Teaching - Guidance - Personal time
  • 7:00 PM: Dinner
  • 8:30 PM: Evening prayer or Compline

Practical information

From Tuesday, April 14 at 7:00 PM to Sunday, April 19 at 4:00 PM. Welcome from 6:30 PM onward.

Please let us know whether you will be arriving by train or by car. We may be able to pick you up at the tram stop (the round-trip car ride from the tram to Thumenau is estimated at €10); please notify us as soon as possible.

  • Option to rent bed linens and/or towels (€5).
  • A meal is served upon arrival. If you have dietary requirements, please notify us and send an up-to-date medical certificate as soon as possible. (The house does not provide gluten-free bread.)
  • Estimated total cost of the session: €500 (meals, accommodation, facilitation), payable at the end of the session.
  • Please bring your Bible and something to write with.
  • Please also bring your napkin and napkin ring.
  • If you do not wish to be photographed, please let us know.

Registration is final only upon receipt of a €50 deposit (which you may pay by sending a check made out to Centre d'accueil de la Thumenau, or online via the Puits de Jacob website by clicking here). However, please notify us of any cancellation as soon as you have received our registration confirmation.

Getting there

Train

Strasbourg train station, then take the Tram (Campus d'Illkirch station): the community can then pick you up at the tram station, otherwise bus from the tram station. Another option: Erstein station from where you can also take the bus to the Thumenau stop or request pickup.
