A time to set down and take root

La Roche du Theil, with its grounds, its spaces for silence and prayer, offers an ideal setting for a time of stepping back and recentering.

In a spirit of kindness and simplicity, each person is invited to set down the weight of daily life and rediscover a lightness of heart.

Over five days, Bishop Michel Dubost will accompany us on a deep spiritual journey: that of trust rediscovered. His words, marked by wisdom and gentleness, open a path toward a persevering and joyful faith, one that does not avoid difficulties but walks through them with God.

Each day, teachings will introduce a theme of hope:

  • learning to believe in spite of everything
  • rediscovering trust after fear
  • carrying light into our fragility
  • recognizing signs of hope around us
  • uniting with Christ who makes all things new

These times will be extended by silent meditation, personal prayer, the Eucharist, and fraternal sharing.

Particular attention will be given to the Word of God.

Hope, a way of life

This retreat also aims to be a concrete apprenticeship in hope: not a passing feeling, but an attitude for living, a way of inhabiting the world with trust, even amid its contradictions.

Through prayer, contemplation, and listening to oneself, each person can rediscover an inner peace and become in turn a witness to hope.

  • Lauds at 8:30 AM
  • Vespers at 6:40 PM
  • Mass on weekdays at 11:30 AM every day
  • Mass on Sundays at 11:00 AM
  • Meeting and confession with a priest by appointment
