A few days of renewal during the summer
This 6-day journey travels toward God within oneself, to help grow in us peace, joy, and love, drawing from the treasures of the Gospel.
Check-in from 4:00 PM; please arrive by 7:00 PM. The retreat ends around 10:00 AM after the 9:00 AM Mass on the last day.
Retreat preached by Father Richard Escudier, seminary of Paris.
Programme
The program includes guideposts, prayers, teachings, and the opportunity to meet with a priest and/or a member of the Foyer de charité.
Opportunities for walks in and around the estate, through a landscape of gentle, wooded hills.
Meals served with music, generous and varied.
An atmosphere of recollection and silence.
Practical information
Important information
- Please bring your own bed sheets (or rent a set for €5), towels, a cloth napkin and its holder if possible, your medications, outdoor shoes for enjoying the countryside, your Bible (available to borrow on site), and something to write with.
- Accommodation in single rooms; a few double rooms available. Pillowcases and blankets provided on site.
- The Foyer de charité is located halfway between Toulouse and Bordeaux. We can pick you up at Agen train station if you are traveling by train.
- By registering, you commit to respecting everyone's privacy and to participating in the retreat in its entirety.
Suggested offering
The cost is left to your discretion, in good conscience, according to your means.
For reference, a full-board day costs us €55.
Getting there
3 hours 15 minutes from Paris by TGV, 1 hour from Toulouse, and 1 hour from Bordeaux. Free shuttle from the Foyer de charité to Agen train station during event retreats.

Along the approximately 500 km of banks of the nearby Garonne river.
