Summer session

The Village de François summer session is a small festival of life and fellowship, at the heart of a community where around 70 people live together year-round: families, people in vulnerable situations, young people, volunteers, and friends.

• For 4 days, the Village opens its doors to welcome you into its daily life.
• A true immersion in the life of the Village
• A joyful and vibrant festival spirit: concerts and live music, Christian artists and rappers, festive and convivial evenings, large-scale games, Olympics-style events, moments of joy
• A simple, joyful, welcoming atmosphere, open to all.
• Powerful spiritual moments: Masses in a beautiful setting, times of praise and music, moments of silence and peace, the Petal of Roses vigil, following in the footsteps of Saint Thérèse
• Meaningful experiences, yet free and without obligation: everyone participates at their own pace.

Each day is organized around a simple rhythm: prayer, encounters, teachings, activities, and celebration.

• Morning: praise and Mass, talks (Father Paul Dollié, Benoît de Blanpré)
• Shared lunch with the residents
• Afternoon: workshops and community life, games, Olympics-style events and group rugby, discovery of the Village de François, free time, rest, and encounters
• Evening: concerts, music and a festive atmosphere, powerful spiritual moments (praise, "Petals of Roses" vigil)

Accommodation

Two options are available:

• At the guest house (reopened this year): bed linens are provided
• In a tent: bring your own tent and sleeping bag

What to bring

• Clothing suited to the countryside and evenings
• Personal everyday items

Meals

All meals are fully provided by our on-site chefs.

Financial contribution:

• Two pricing levels are offered depending on each person's means: reduced / standard.
• Single room: 240 € / 300 €
• Shared room / couple: 190 € / 220 €
• Tent: 170 € / 190 €
• Children receive a half-price rate.
• The offering covers accommodation, meals, and all session activities. If the price is a barrier, please don't hesitate to contact us by leaving your number at marthe@lessessionsdelabbaye.com.
• Marquee tents can be rented on site (self-assembly required; price communicated by message).
