Living simplicity and fraternity with Saint Francis
6 days of walking from Vézelay along the Assisi trail, crossing the Morvan natural park. This walk will be accompanied by Sister Claire-Annaël from the monastic fraternity of Jerusalem and Sister Gaëtane, a religious of the Sisters of the Sacred Heart.
Programme
- Saturday, July 25: welcome in Vézelay by the monastic fraternities of Jerusalem
- Sunday, July 26: departure from La Cordelle (the first Franciscan foundation in France), welcome by the Franciscans and a blessing for the journey.
- 6 days of walking along the Assisi trail, with time for prayer, meditation on the Word of God, sharing, and personal time, all in a spirit of simplicity and togetherness in a truly refreshing setting.
Practical information
Practical details:
Departure from Vézelay. Around twenty kilometers per day. Walking with backpacks, with accommodation each evening in different locations. Bring a sleeping bag and sleeping mat. Additional information will be provided. Welcome to share in this adventure together!
