The sanctuary of Our Lady of Laghet is a major Marian pilgrimage site, perched at over 300 meters above sea level between Nice and Monaco, on the Côte d'Azur. Its history dates back to the 12th century, when a first chapel was built on this site, restored in 1625, and later became a place of miracles in the 17th century, marked by three extraordinary events in 1652 that gave rise to a tradition of pilgrimages. Today, four diocesan priests and a community of Benedictine Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Montmartre animate the sanctuary through prayer and adoration.
Nestled in a small valley, the sanctuary offers a setting of peace and meditation, between the Mediterranean and the surrounding mountains. Its chapel in the Nice Baroque style retains its timeless charm, bearing witness to numerous ex-votos. Our Lady of Laghet welcomes visitors from all walks of life, seeking hope, comfort, and an authentic spiritual experience.

Setting & environment
Nestled in a valley at around 650 meters above sea level, between Nice and Monaco, the sanctuary offers a stunning panorama between the Mediterranean and the mountains. The sea is accessible by bus or car for moments of relaxation.
Places of prayer
In addition to the main baroque chapel, two oratories and an outdoor chapel are available for prayer and recollection.
Dining
Four dining rooms with capacity for up to 400 covers. Lunches and dinners served on site. Outdoor picnic areas are also available.

Wi-Fi access is available in certain parts of the guest house.

The sanctuary is led by four diocesan priests and Benedictine Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Montmartre, who provide prayer, adoration, and pastoral guidance.
