The Convento de Santa Catalina de Siena, known as Santa Catalina de Zafra, is home to a community of Dominican nuns belonging to the Nuestra Señora del Rosario federation. It is located on the Carrera del Darro, at the foot of the Albaicín, in Granada (Andalusia, Spain). It was founded in the early 16th century by the widow of Hernando de Zafra, secretary to the Catholic Monarchs, in Nasrid houses granted by the Crown.
The convent, listed as a monument since 1931, blends Muslim and Christian elements around several patios; its Mudéjar church dates from the 16th century. The DeClausura directory lists visiting hours in the morning and afternoon, with no guest house.
