The Monasterio Madre de Dios is home to a community of Dominican nuns in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, in the province of Cádiz, in Andalusia. The community arrived there in 1480 thanks to the second Duke of Medina Sidonia and his wife. It belongs to the Federación Nuestra Señora del Rosario, which brings together Dominican monasteries in southern Spain.
The current building dates from the late 16th century, following a reform supported by the house of Medina Sidonia. Its Mannerist stone façade features statues of Dominican saints. Two daughters of Hernán Cortés made their profession here. The convent is part of the city's historic ensemble. Sources consulted make no mention of a guest house.
