Mosteiro Nossa Senhora da Paz

Mosteiro Nossa Senhora da Paz is an abbey of Benedictine nuns located in Itapecerica da Serra, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It belongs to the Congregação Beneditina do Brasil and falls under the diocese of Campo Limpo. It was founded on July 21, 1974, as a priory dependent on the Abadia de Santa Maria de São Paulo, itself an offshoot of the English abbey of Stanbrook, and was raised to the status of abbey on May 23, 1983.

The life of the nuns is centered on the liturgy and the Rule of Saint Benedict. The community's website invites visitors to pray with them, for example at the Compline office. The sacred artist Claudio Pastro is buried on the monastery grounds, which include a garden cemetery.
