Orange

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Priory was founded in 2006 in Orange, New Jersey (a western suburb of New York) to serve a twofold mission: to be part of the campus ministry team at a Catholic university with several thousand students; and to be in charge of a parish in an underprivileged area, with a population made up largely of first-generation immigrants. In this mission serving the young and the poor, we seek to bear witness to the love of Christ, which illuminates and gives meaning to all human life.
