Très-Saint-Rosaire and Sacré-Coeur Monastery in Paray-le-Monial

The Dominican nuns of the Très-Saint-Rosaire and Sacré-Coeur Monastery have been in Paray-le-Monial, in the heart of Romanesque Burgundy, since 1929. A major Christian pilgrimage site, Paray-le-Monial has welcomed millions of pilgrims since the Sacred Heart of Jesus appeared three times to a nun at the Visitation Monastery, Marguerite-Marie Alacoque, better known as Saint Margaret Mary, in the 17th century. In this haven of peace, the sisters welcome individuals and groups.
