The Visitation Sainte-Marie Monastery in Nantes is home to a contemplative community of the Order of the Visitation, founded in 1610 by Saint Francis de Sales and Saint Jane de Chantal. It is located on rue du Maréchal-Joffre, in Nantes, in Loire-Atlantique. The community has fifteen sisters, including temporary professed sisters, novices, and a postulant. It leads the Guard of Honor of the Sacred Heart and distributes the Sauvegardes du Sacré-Cœur.

Women may make a retreat within the enclosure lasting from one to eight days, except during Advent and Lent. Retreatants are invited to the sung Liturgy of the Hours in the choir and may meet with a sister for spiritual listening. At the entrance to the monastery, a shop offers the community's handcrafted goods, religious articles, and books on Salesian spirituality.
