The feast of the Assumption on Sunday, August 15, is celebrated with the entire parish at the grotte de l'Habit, not far from Bassac.

Programme
Each day begins with the prayer of Lauds.
The days from Thursday through Saturday evening take place in an atmosphere of silence to encourage personal times of interior recollection.
Practical information
Full board.
Please bring your own sheets, pillowcase, towels, and toiletries.
Feel free to bring something to write with and a Bible.
Getting to the abbey:
By car: a large parking lot within the abbey is available to retreatants.
By train: Jarnac Charente station (6 km away) — we can arrange to pick you up.
Note: as of now, there is no elevator to access the rooms.
