Liturgy, spiritual life, and mission
Deepening one's understanding of Christian liturgy
A weekend to better understand the liturgy
This session invites participants to discover and deepen their understanding of how liturgical celebration (Mass, but also the Liturgy of the Hours, celebrations of the Word, and the sacraments) is the crucible of the spiritual life of the Church and of each of its members, conforming them to Christ and to his mission.
Entering into liturgical texts to grasp their theological significance.
A blend of presentations and personal (or group) time working directly with texts.
Philippe Barras, former professor at the Institut supérieur de liturgie (ICP), former editor of the journal La Maison-Dieu, former director of the Centre de formation pastorale et catéchétique des diocèses de Lille, Arras, Cambrai (Cipac), and president of the ASC (association of French-speaking liturgists).
