Retreat "Strengthen the inner man within you", Father Richard Escudier

This 6-day journey is a voyage toward God within oneself, to grow in peace, joy, and love by drawing from the treasures of the Gospel and Tradition.

Retreat preached by Father Richard Escudier, episcopal vicar for foreign Catholic communities in Paris and director of one of the Paris seminary houses.

Arrival from 4:00 PM; please be there by 7:00 PM. The retreat ends around 10:00 AM after the 9:00 AM Mass on the last day.

• Landmarks, prayers, teachings, opportunity to meet with a priest and/or a member of the Foyer de charité.

• Daily Mass and offices, rosary, adoration, prayer vigils, confession available.

• Opportunities for walks in and around the grounds, set amid a landscape of gentle, wooded hills.

• Meals accompanied by music, generous and varied.

• An atmosphere of recollection and silence.

Practical details

• Full board.

• Accommodation in single rooms; a few double rooms available. Pillowcases and blankets provided on site.

• Please bring your own bed sheets (or rent a set for €5), towels, a table napkin and its holder if possible, any medications, outdoor shoes for enjoying the countryside, your Bible (lending possible on site), and something to write with.

• The Foyer de charité is located halfway between Toulouse and Bordeaux. We will pick you up at Agen train station if you are traveling by train.

• By registering, you commit to respecting everyone's privacy and to participating in the retreat in its entirety.

• The cost is left to your discretion, in all conscience, according to your means.
