What am I doing in this mess?

Why a session called "What am I doing in this mess?"?

You are struggling, rowing and rowing without any horizon or solid ground in sight, and sometimes this has been going on for so long. You are going through difficulties in your professional, social, or personal and family life, not to mention health problems that sometimes add to the burden. Difficulties at work, family conflicts, separation, grief, isolation. This session can help you step back, analyze what is happening in this difficult situation, and see how to set milestones to gradually find your way out and reach safe harbor...

Programme

  • The sessions in the Penboc'h sector use the Ignatian pedagogy of review of life, discernment, and listening to others, to oneself, and to the word of God. The goal is not to receive teachings, but to learn to make greater use of our personal resources in order to choose in freedom.

  • Each session takes place in a small group of around 8 people. The atmosphere of silence helps to respect each person's journey, to settle down and rest. The session alternates between times of personal reflection, group sharing, and free time to walk in nature.

  • You benefit from daily personal accompaniment.

  • A biblical text offered for meditation and reflection illuminates the path at each stage.

  • Life at the Center is shaped by times of communal prayer, Lauds, and the Eucharist.
