Young professional, where am I with my work?

Why a session "Young professional, where am I with my work?"

You are experiencing your first or second job after your studies, with joy and questions. This session is for you!

  • Fully immersed in professional life after studies of varying length, you are discovering your environment with enthusiasm, eager to grow, passionate about your work, even if it demands investment, adaptation, and a commitment that sometimes takes up a great deal of your time...

  • Or perhaps you feel a little disappointed compared to what you expected or hoped for, not always comfortable in an environment that does not allow you to balance professional and personal life or that does not respect what matters to you, and sometimes burnout does not feel so far away...

  • How do I find my place in the working world, deepen my skills, thrive, grow in competence while honoring what is most important to me, how do I equip myself to face difficulties..., stay, leave, change direction? What are my needs? Deep down, what is my true desire?

Through the review and pedagogy of this session, you are given the opportunity to take stock of the first stages of your life as a young professional, to benefit from exchanges with other young people about your joys and difficulties, in order to move forward and find more of what you are looking for and put it into practice.
Each day you benefit from individual guidance.

Programme

How does a professional life session work?

  • The sessions in the "Professional Life" track at Penboc'h use the Ignatian pedagogy of review, discernment, listening to others, to oneself, and to the word of God. The aim is not to receive teachings, but to learn to draw more fully on our personal resources in order to choose in freedom.

  • Each session takes place in a small group of around 8 people. The atmosphere of silence helps to respect each person's journey, to settle and rest. The session alternates between times of personal reflection, group sharing, and free time to walk in nature.

  • A biblical text offered for meditation and reflection sheds light on the path at each stage.

  • Life at the Center is marked by times of communal prayer, Lauds and the Eucharist.
