Praying in the Ignatian spirituality

Three days to experience, according to the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius, an encounter with the Lord in prayer, listening to His Word, and learning to recognize Him in one's personal life.

Personal guidance in a spiritual retreat according to the Exercises

The personal guidance we offer in Jesuit spiritual centers is inspired by the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius.

Through the review of daily prayer times based on Bible texts and also through the review of your life, it helps you seek and find God in all things, respond to your desire to know Christ better, and, listening to the Word, make choices for the future to follow Him more closely.

What is it about?

  • Spiritual guidance is a very ancient practice in the Church.
  • It involves speaking to a brother or sister in faith about what makes up one's life and prayer to discover God at work in all aspects of existence with its shadows and lights.
  • The spiritual director is a believer, also engaged in the same search for God and trained in Ignatian spiritual guidance.
  • He or she walks alongside the person being guided to help them free themselves from the obstacles that hinder them, at the stage where they are in their life and in their vocation.
  • The spiritual director and the person being guided listen together to the Spirit.
  • The spiritual director is bound by confidentiality.
