Meeting the Poor Clares
- The goal is to give young women, whatever their background and life plans, the opportunity to discover our monastic life from the inside.
- Accommodation and talks (introductions to our life, the history of the monastery, Saint Clare and Saint Francis, and the Bible), afternoon snacks, and sharing time among participants all take place in the guest house.
- Meals, work sessions (garden, printing workshop, bookbinding workshop, help preparing starters and desserts, ...), prayer time, and leisure time are shared with the community (within the enclosure).
For young women aged 18 to 35.

- Tuesday 08/25: 4:30 PM if possible (or 8:00 PM at the latest): welcome and settling in.
- Wednesday 08/26: 1 talk, 1 work session, a meet-and-greet tea with a few sisters, free time, liturgical offices and Mass, a sharing session with a sister at the end of the day to reflect on what each participant experienced.
- Thursday 08/27: 1 talk, 1 or 2 work sessions, a fraternal gathering with a small group from the community, free time, liturgical offices and Mass, a sharing session with a sister at the end of the day to reflect on what each participant experienced.
- Friday 08/28: 1 talk, 1 work session, a fraternal gathering with the whole community, liturgical offices and Mass, a review and reflection session on what each participant experienced during the stay.
During the stay, there will also be an opportunity for a personal meeting with a sister.
A few things to know:
- If possible, please bring your own sheets or sleeping bag and towels.
- Bring suitable clothing for work (especially in the garden).
Financial contribution:
Nothing! Just a smile! A donation is of course always welcome.
