Led by Father Michel Meneau, Eudist, spiritual director and specialist in spiritual guidance, this retreat offers a profound experience of mercy lived and shared.

The word mercy, sometimes considered outdated, reveals all of God's tenderness for humanity and for all creation.

During these six days, participants will be invited to allow themselves to be inwardly shaped by Christ, through prayer, meditation on the Word, and peaceful contemplation of the surrounding nature. "The Gospel and the park will be our companions on the journey." - Father Michel Meneau

The park of La Roche du Theil, rich with its trees, paths, and silence, will become a place of learning mercy lived:

• welcoming,

• respecting,

• observing,

• letting God act in simplicity.

This is not a technical ecology approach, but a spiritual ecological posture: letting creation speak and receiving its quiet wisdom.

The days will be structured around:

• spiritual teachings and Gospel meditation times,

• times of communal prayer and liturgy, source of peace and inner unity,

• moments of personal silence, to taste God's loving presence,

• contemplative walks in the park, connected to the theme of mercy.

This retreat is for anyone wishing to slow down, pause, and allow themselves to be met. It requires no particular skills, only availability of heart.

• Lauds at 8:30 AM

• Vespers at 6:40 PM

• Mass on weekdays at 11:30 AM every day

• Mass on Sunday at 11:00 AM

• Meeting and confession with a priest by appointment

Practical information

• If you have a dietary restriction, please specify it when registering so the kitchen can accommodate it.

• Sheets and towels are provided by the center and placed on your bed.

• WiFi is available throughout the facility.

• Bring your Bible (if you have one), notebook, and pen.

• The 12-hectare park, library, and lounge are available to all retreatants

Getting there ‍

• By car from Redon: direction La Gacilly then La Roche du Theil (La Roche du Theil - Google Maps)

• By train: Redon TGV station - The station is 6 minutes from the center. Taxi available.

• Upon arrival, check in at reception to pick up your key.

Financial participation

• Contribution to expenses: €520.44

• The retreat price includes accommodation, meals, the room, and the retreat leader.

• To confirm your registration, you will be asked for a deposit of 30% of the retreat amount. In case of cancellation, any amount paid to the Center remains with the Center except in case of cancellation by the Center.
