Retreat to regain control
You feel like you're no longer in control of your life, that you've been robbed of your choices, that you're enduring the events that happen to you, gritting your teeth without having a say.
Enough is enough.
Events occur in your life, and you feel you can no longer control what has happened to you.
You feel discouraged, helpless. It's difficult or even impossible for you to move forward or choose a direction.
You feel incapable of making a decision and you let others or circumstances sometimes decide for you.
You feel without resources, without energy.
This session can help you regain freedom by becoming aware of mechanisms that have seized up, by remobilizing your personal and relational capacities, and by finding the energy to move forward, happier and freer.
Meditation on the word of God helps you pick up your mat and start walking.

- The sessions in the "Professional Life" program at Penboc'h use the Ignatian pedagogy of review, discernment, listening to others, to oneself, and to the word of God.
- This is not about receiving teachings, but about learning to use our personal resources more fully to choose in freedom.
- Each session takes place in a small group of about 8 people.
- The climate of silence helps respect each person's journey, to pause and rest.
- The session alternates between times of personal reflection, group sharing, and free time to walk in nature.
- You receive daily personal spiritual direction.
- A biblical text offered for meditation and reflection illuminates the path at each stage.
- The Center's daily life is structured by times of communal prayer, Lauds and Eucharist.
Bring a notebook and something to write with, and you may also bring your Bible.
Remember to bring walking shoes and equipment to protect yourself from the sun but also from the rain!
And to fully enjoy the gulf, bring your swimsuit!
