How can you find God in your job and direct your professional life to be unified in the deepest part of yourself?
You wish to
- unify your faith life and professional commitment more deeply,
- make more aligned choices in how you live your work daily, for example accepting or declining a promotion in accordance with what matters to you
- listen to and nurture deep desires you carry, sometimes for a long time, including the desire for a career change...
This session is for you!
You have aspirations regarding your work. You struggle to develop them in your current context.
- What meaning should you give to your professional activity?
- How can you peacefully live your responsibilities and relationships there?
- What connection can you make between faith life and professional life?
- How can you let God's Word illuminate your professional choices?
- Perhaps you feel uncomfortable, torn between what is expected of you and the values you hold?
- Do you feel divided or not respected?
- What attitude should you then adopt?
- What path should you take?
These are all questions that may arise when a certain weariness settles into your professional life, when you desire to unify your work and faith, or when obstacles appear on the path.
- How then can you direct your life there, how can you see clearly?
- Should I go as far as a career change?
- Stay, but how? Leave, but where?
Times of personal reflection based on review, group sharing times, meditation time based on God's Word, and daily personal guidance will be offered.

-
- The "Professional Life" sessions at Penboc'h use the Ignatian pedagogy of review, discernment, listening to others, to oneself, and to God's word.
- This is not about receiving teachings, but about learning to use our personal resources more fully to choose in freedom.
- Each session is experienced in a small group of approximately 8 people.
- The atmosphere of silence helps respect each person's journey, to settle down, to rest.
- The session alternates between times of personal reflection, group sharing times, and free time to walk in nature.
- You benefit from daily personal guidance.
- A biblical text offered for meditation and reflection illuminates the path at each stage.
- The Center's life is structured by times of communal prayer, Lauds, and the Eucharist.
Bring a notebook and something to write with, you may also bring your Bible.
Remember to bring walking shoes, your gear to protect from the sun but also... from the rain!
And to fully enjoy the gulf, bring your swimsuit!
