A discernment retreat at the Carmel of Le Havre!

All year long, the guest house welcomes young women who are questioning their possible religious vocation and who want to experience the life of the sisters, far from the noise of the city and ringing phones. And there's no obligation to commit!

‍

This program, "Heaven is within you," is for those who:

‍

• feel that Christ is calling them to follow him, but don't know how.

‍

• wish to learn how to encounter God in prayer.

‍

• are perhaps wondering what their vocation is.

‍

• think that contact with a community would help them gain clarity.

‍
This program offers two discernment weekends (dates to be arranged with the community based on your availability).
‍

Drawing on the saints of Carmel and a community of Carmelite nuns, you can come explore…
‍

• your life path in response to the Lord.

‍

• how to encounter Jesus in prayer.

‍

• how to let yourself be guided by the Holy Spirit.

‍

A first contact to clarify what you carry within, by living according to the rhythm of the community, while remaining on the side of the faithful. Conversations with a sister will allow you to share your questions.
‍

If at the end of these two weekends, discovering the life of a Carmelite opens up a horizon that attracts you, you may request to spend a week immersed in our community.
