2 days to enter into the experience of life at Carmel. This is a weekend of prayer and silence to:
- Come to the desert, rest your heart in silence
- Open yourself to listening to the Lord
- If you wish, receive accompaniment for discernment.
"Flos Carmeli" are the opening words of the traditional prayer to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, recited by all Carmelites.
This prayer will guide you throughout your discernment weekend.
Program
Upon your arrival, the different elements of the retreat are presented to you and we adjust them together to your needs. You are the protagonist of your weekend! Not to mention the Holy Spirit who will guide you...
Concretely, we offer you:
- to participate in the Divine Office and the Eucharist with the community
- to be introduced to mental prayer, lectio divina, and inhabited silence
- to experience an encounter with sisters and a time of manual work if you wish.
- Lunch and dinner on site.
- Sheets and towels provided.
- Remember to bring a Bible and something to write with.
