2 days to enter into the experience of life at Carmel. This is a weekend of prayer and silence to:
- Come to the desert, rest your heart in silence
- Open yourself to listening to the Lord
- If you wish, receive guidance for discernment.
"Flos Carmeli" are the opening words of the traditional prayer to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, recited by all Carmelite friars and nuns.
This prayer will guide you throughout your discernment weekend.
Program
Upon your arrival, the various elements of the retreat will be presented to you and we will adjust them together according to what you are seeking. You are the protagonist of your weekend! And of course, the Holy Spirit will guide you...
Specifically, we offer you:
- participation in the divine office and the Eucharist with the community
- introduction to mental prayer, lectio divina, and inhabited silence
- a meeting with the sisters and time for manual work if you wish.
- Lunch and dinner provided on-site.
- Sheets and towels provided.
- Remember to bring a Bible and something to write with.
