2 days to enter into the experience of life at the Carmel. It's a weekend of prayer and silence to:
- Come to the desert, rest your heart in silence
- Put yourself in a place of listening to the Lord
- If you wish, receive accompaniment for discernment.
"Flos Carmeli" are the opening words of the traditional prayer to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, recited by all Carmelite friars and nuns.
This prayer will guide you throughout your discernment weekend.
The program
Upon your arrival, the different elements of the retreat are presented to you and we adjust them together to your search. You are the protagonist of your weekend! Not forgetting the Holy Spirit who will guide you...
Concretely, we offer you:
- to participate in the divine office and Eucharist with the community
- to be initiated into mental prayer, lectio divina, and inhabited silence
- to live a meeting with the sisters and a time of manual work if you wish.
- Lunches and dinners on site.
- Sheets and towels provided.
- Remember to bring a Bible and something to write with.
