2 days to enter into the experience of life at Carmel. This is a weekend of prayer and silence to:
- Come to the desert, to rest your heart in silence
- Open yourself to listening to the Lord
- If you wish, receive guidance for discernment.
"Flos Carmeli" are the opening words of the traditional prayer to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, recited by all Carmelites.
This prayer will guide you throughout your discernment weekend.
The program
Upon your arrival, the different elements of the retreat will be presented to you and we will adjust them together according to what you are seeking. You are the protagonist of your weekend! Not forgetting the Holy Spirit who will guide you...
Specifically, we invite you to:
- participate in the divine office and the Eucharist with the community
- be introduced to mental prayer, lectio divina, and lived silence
- have a meeting with sisters and a time of manual work if you wish.
- Lunch and dinner on site.
- Sheets and towels provided.
- Remember to bring a Bible and something to write with.
