Encountering Christ through Franciscan spirituality
These Franciscan Spiritual Exercises are an invitation to concrete practices that, step by step, work toward perceiving the mysteries of Christ.
A journey shaped by the figure of Christ for an encounter.
- An immersion in the Spiritual Exercises according to the Franciscan tradition.
- Practices that call upon the imagination to live the mysteries of Christ.
- A path to let yourself be shaped by the figure of Christ and his love.
Led by Father Henry Laudrin, Franciscan Brother

Franciscan spirituality, deeply rooted in the contemplation of Christ, offers a path to live and love the Gospel.
Father Henry Laudrin, drawing on his experience, will guide us through these exercises:
- Contemplate the figure of Christ through the eyes of Francis of Assisi: a poor, humble, and crucified Christ, but also the joyful Christ, brother to all creation.
- Develop concrete practices so that the Lord's presence permeates every dimension of our being and daily life.
- Discern the mysteries of Christ not as simple narratives, but as living realities at work in our lives.
- Experience the joy and freedom of evangelical poverty, the simplicity and fraternity that characterize the Franciscan spirit.
This week will be structured around times of teaching, personal meditation, silent prayer, and liturgical celebrations.
The proposed path will aim to exercise our spiritual perception for an ever more intimate encounter with Christ. Whether or not you are seeking to deepen your faith, this retreat is an opportunity to open yourself to Franciscan spirituality and let Christ shape your heart in the image of his own.
