Making informed choices

  • You have a decision to make and you don't know how to approach it.
  • You need to not be alone with your choice, but to talk about it, to shed light on it.
  • A new work position is offered to you or you want to change jobs.
  • You want to move to the countryside, get involved in a particular organization, you have a project you've been carrying for a long time, now you need to make a decision.

  • Yes, but how to proceed?
  • What to pay attention to?
  • What are the obstacles to overcome?
  • What are the important questions to ask yourself to make a choice in freedom?

During this session, you will be given tools to make choices by taking into account all that you are.

  • The "Professional Life" sector sessions at Penboc'h use the Ignatian pedagogy of review, discernment, listening to others, to oneself and to the Word of God.

  • It is not about receiving teachings, but about learning to use more of our personal resources to choose in freedom.

  • Each session is experienced in a small group of about 8 people.

  • The climate of silence helps to respect each person's journey, to settle down, to rest.

  • The session alternates times of personal reflection, times of sharing in a group, and free time to go walking in nature.

  • You benefit from daily personal guidance.

  • A biblical text offered for meditation and reflection illuminates the path at each stage.

  • The Center's life is structured by times of communal prayer, Lauds and Eucharist.

Bring a notebook and something to write with, you can also bring your Bible.

Remember to bring walking shoes, your equipment to protect from the sun but also... from the rain!

And to fully enjoy the gulf, bring your swimsuit!
