How to discern before committing?
- The "Is he the one? Is she the one?" retreats are for couples who are hesitant to fully commit to marriage.
- The goal is to help each person discern whether they wish to move forward in their commitment, take a pause, or end a relationship that may not be meant to go further.
- Provide tools to answer several questions about choosing your future spouse.
- This weekend is open to believing and non-believing couples who wish to shed light on their path to see more clearly in their journey toward a possible church wedding.
- The speaker will review the steps of any important decision and the spiritual discernment criteria necessary at this stage of your life to continue or not your path toward the sacrament of marriage.
- They will reaffirm what lies at the heart of marital love and discuss the obstacles that couples desiring to marry may encounter.
- They will offer several reflection points to go further.
- The retreat includes meals and times of silence to allow for better internalization
- A team of available spiritual guides.
- Discussions in small groups, moments of sharing.
- Tools for committing.
- Lauds at 8:30 am
- Vespers at 6:40 pm
- Mass on weekdays at 11:30 am daily
- Mass on Sunday at 11:00 am
- Meeting and confession with a priest by appointment
Practical information
- If you have a special diet, please specify it when registering so the kitchen can accommodate it.
- Sheets and towels are provided by the center and placed on your bed.
- Wifi is available throughout the facility.
- Bring your Bible (if you have one), notebook and pen.
- The 12-hectare park, library, and lounge are available to all retreatants
Getting here
- By car from Redon: direction La Gacilly then La Roche du Theil (La Roche du Theil - Google Maps)
- By train: Redon TGV station, located 6 minutes from the center. Taxi available.
- Upon arrival, check in at reception to collect your key.
Contribution to expenses
- The retreat price includes accommodation, meals, the room, and the speaker.
- To confirm your registration, you will be asked to pay a deposit of 30% of the retreat amount. In case of cancellation, any amount paid to the Center remains acquired by the Center except in case of cancellation by the Center.
The amount of the contribution should not be a barrier. If you have financial difficulties, please feel free to contact us.
