From wound to blessing: forgiveness, a path of mercy and liberation.
"God is love" (1 John 4:8) sums up the entire Gospel.
Through the Bible and in our lives, God accompanies us with tenderness, calling us to take the path of forgiveness to receive his mercy.
This weekend preached by Father Benoît Pierre, vicar general of the Diocese of Le Mans, invites us to walk through the stages of forgiveness as a path of healing and inner freedom.
- Experience a profound spiritual experience through adoration, the sacrament of reconciliation, listening, silence, and prayer.
- Receive the teaching of the Church on mercy, in the light of Saint John Paul II, Pope Francis, and Saint Faustina.
- Review the Ritual of the sacrament of reconciliation to rediscover its richness.
Program
The days are punctuated by
- teachings,
- the liturgical offices with the Brothers of Saint John,
- free time to walk in the countryside or meet with a priest.
- It is good to bring a bible, rosary, and something to write with.
- Warm clothes are recommended for Mass and prayer times at the Basilica.
- The SNCF/TGV train station in Sablé-sur-Sarthe is located 10 minutes from the Sanctuary of Notre-Dame du Chêne.
